Carlos Andrés’ career boasts a variety of urban, historical and landscape projects that he has carried out and directed in diverse parts of Colombia. His professional practice is based on international academic training in the US, Mexico, Argentina, and Chile as well as Colombia. He currently teaches the subject 'Project Workshop' in the School of Arquitecture at the Pontificia Bolivariana University (UPB) in Medellín, where OPUS studio is based.
Betan, (as he is affectionately known) is a creative person with an exuberant interest in the development of knowledge, history, in participating in projects of urban development, and in identity construction. He loves a good walk by the river or in the mountains, and spending time with his friends.
